Background & Experience:
Peter has over 30 years experience in the mortgage and financial services industry, specializing in technology and marketing. Peter currently offers his services through Prymak LLC. Peter is one of the company’s founding partners and has been leading Prymak’s day-to-day operations since 2000. Peter’s has managed projects at 5 of the top 10 banking companies in the US, many regarding the banks loan origination system (LOS) and loan origination system consulting.
Before Prymak, Peter was employed at credit union & banking technology vendor FiTECH Systems from 1993 – 2000 mostly working in the group responsible for the firm's loan origination system. He worked customer support, implementation services, application development and quality assurance for the company’s mortgage lending groups. In 1996, he was promoted to VP of Application Development (working specifically on the firm's loan origination system - LOS) and in 1999 became Senior Vice President for the Customer Services division.
From 1985 through 1993, Peter was employed at Dime Bancorp in New York (now part of JP Morgan Chase), where his career included IT management for the bank’s lending division and working with in conjunction with their loan origination system (LOS).
Peter earned a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in New York in 1985 and is a 2006 graduate of the Mortgage Banker’s Association Future Leaders program.
Peter earned his Certified Mortgage Banker designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2011.
Peter served on the Board of Directors for the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas from 2013 - 2019.
Timeline of Experience:
2019: Chairs the Mortgage Bankers Association CMB Society Amazing Race in Austin, TX.
2013: Peter becomes a Board Director for the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas.
2011: Peter earns his Certified Mortgage Banker designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association. One of only about 1,200 ever awarded since 1973.
2009: Under Peter's leadership, Prymak begins to offer marketing and public relations services to financial institutions and industry service providers.
2006: Prymak becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Fab Five Holding Company where Peter becomes managing partner focused on the firms sales and marketing efforts focusing on loan origination consulting and mortgage technology consulting.
2004: Prymak joins FirstPoint Resources, credit reporting and collections firm, where Peter leads the mortgage technology division including its sales and marketing endeavors for their services and loan origination system (LOS).
2000: Prymak is founded by Peter, Kim Norwood and three other industry executives to provide technology support and services to financial institutions including loan origination system consulting.
1999: Peter is promoted to Senior Vice President of Support & Services for FiTECH Systems. Peter is appointed to the firm's executive committee.
1996: Peter becomes Vice President of Business Applications at FiTECH Systems and leads the effort to rewrite the company's base mortgage loan origination system (LOS) and consumer loan origination system (LOS).
1993: Peter joins Atlanta-based FiTECH System as customer support analyst working with the firm's loan origination system (LOS).
1985: Following college, Peter is hired by Dime Savings Bank of New York where he starts out in customer service and advances to planning analyst and eventually to a system manager for the bank' mortgage closing system during his nearly 7 year tenure at the financial institution in the loan origination system (LOS) group.
